technically good cinematography and practical effects ect but i didnt give a single fuck about anything that happened or any of these characters….underdeveloped whatever with some nice colour grading over the top. also yes this was well done in the editing and cinematography and whatev but when ur characters and story are nothing than does it really matter. also some of these shots were just painfully average not very well framed cut back and forths during conversation which were disappointing compared to other well shot scenes….overall sometimes good but otherwise whatever

Monkey Man 2024
yeah this is one of the best cinema experiences ive had in a long time. this movie is intensely packed and writhing with culture and furiosity, the pacing was brutally fast when it wanted and slowed down when it needed, the storyline felt driven, and the cinematography and editing was fast, close, and intentional, while also bringing this improvisational, guerrilla feel at times that surprisingly didnt detract from the film, but pulled me in more. you could feel patels intense passion seeping into every second of this film and i cant wait for more of his work
