i think krzysztof kieślowski has mastered writing about grief. nothing has ever felt so unsettling as watching the father run around in denial at the fact that his kid was in that water. such an interesting take on you shall have no other gods before me. a computer being shown… as a god. woah. everyone’s search for meaning felt so natural none of this felt scripted. the candle wax on what i believe was a picture of mary dripping down…
