Poor Things 2023
I am in love. I did watch it with a man (booooooo) and I fear i needed to watch it alone as it's such a beautiful and gut wrenching exploration of growing up as a woman into a strange world of pain and expectations. LOT more sex than i expected, can never see Mark Ruffalo the same way. I do like how much male yearning there was! but also fuck off. I can't quite fuck with the whole foetal brain…

The Breakfast Club 1985
Rewatched this classic. A beautiful exploration of what it is to be young and vulnerable. HOWEVER!!!!!! Aside from this, there are a few points i am rather upset about. Primarily, they don't even eat fucking breakfast. Not a single cornflake or perhaps a slice of toast. They actually eat LUNCH fucking lunch of all meals but no breakfast. I know it has an artistic purpose but I don't care. False advertising. Perhaps a spot of jam next time. Perchance.
