I truly had no idea what to expect before watching this film but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is so unique and I’ve never heard it told before. Every actress did a wonderful job bodying their characters and giving each character a motive. The editing was very experimental. There were times where there was a 3 second clip that acted as a transition where I wondered what the purpose of it was, but I think it helps push the story along. This is not like any ordinary musical, it pushes the boundaries of performance art in such a unique way. I truly recommend this film.

We already knew this wouldn’t be as close to a masterpiece as the first film, but the disappointment I felt as I left the theatre was not what I was expecting. Joaquin did an incredible job.
