    I truly had no idea what to expect before watching this film but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is so unique and I’ve never heard it told before. Every actress did a wonderful job bodying their characters and giving each character a motive. The editing was very experimental. There were times where there was a 3 second clip that acted as a transition where I wondered what the purpose of it was, but I think it helps push the story along. This is not like any ordinary musical, it pushes the boundaries of performance art in such a unique way. I truly recommend this film.

    We already knew this wouldn’t be as close to a masterpiece as the first film, but the disappointment I felt as I left the theatre was not what I was expecting. Joaquin did an incredible job. He totally continued right where he left off and we learned more about the joker’s personality. Gaga did justice to Harley and I think her and Joaquin were wonderful together.

    The visuals and cinematography are absolutely beautiful. These are shots that I will remember. I cannot describe how they prorated the feeling of summer and sorrow. Especially the shots with the girls in the trees. Every single shot is like a photo with a memory encapsulated inside of it. Golden hues reflected against the blue ocean...

    The editing choices are so powerful.. especially the interweaving of the girls dancing on the beach. the experimentalism in the editing enhanced the spirituality…
