This movie is ridiculously good. The scene where Darkrai first appears and the music that plays is badass. It's also got some of the funniest dialogue. One of the only Pokemon movies that I would happily rewatch multiple times

This is a very enjoyable film with likeable characters that progresses at a good pace. The animation and the music are really nice, and the romantic subplot is well developed. I think if anything could have improved it slightly, they could have gone into Rasputin's backstory a more detail, as his involvement felt a bit shoehorned in because his motivations weren't explained very well.

The acting is all really good and there's a surprising amount of humour, which I liked. However, although some of the battle scenes were really cool to watch, a lot of them looked very similar and in general the film felt a bit too long and slow paced.
