I liked it, glad I watched it… but not a good movie for learning Russian. The audio mixing isn’t great, and other than the narrator, it’s hard to hear what people are saying. Not that I’d understand it well yet, but I wanted to at least hear the words and cadence. It also seems to be all ADR which must be a symptom of it all being one take.
The two main “time travels” did get a little tedious after awhile… but I enjoyed taking in all the costumes, the sets, and the journey through Russian history.
