I picked up a Japanese blu-ray of this film since it’s OOP in the US. Kind of funny owning a film that’s 99% shot in standard definition on an HD disc, but it’s likely the best home release master available so I was happy to indulge. The processing used to blow up the footage to a 2K DI is super cool and worth reading about if you’re a nerd like me.
