To be javier bardem in that throuple…. movie was very cringe at times but pleasantly refreshing given the state of cinema in 2024. this movie isnt trying too hard, or maybe im being delusional and turning a blind eye to the laziness. either way, loved it

The cinematography was absolutely beautiful. The women all put on their best performances and as for the director and director of photography to do so much in quite literally only 2 locations was more than impressive. Went into this completely blind and was moderately confused but genuinely enjoying the cinematography. It’s beautiful, nostalgia runs through its veins. As the last 20 minutes ensued, i caught a knot in my throat, finally grasping the message by the last few scenes. This film quite literally fucked me all the way up. Im talking a pool of tears…. Wow, just wow.

i remember being 15, getting extremely high, like one of the first time highs that you never forget. i stumbled across this movie right after the sesh and 10 minutes in i was already crying, and cried a few more times throughout the movie, along with a smile i couldnt hold back. this is and always will be my comfort movie. the cinematography and music design is a hit of dopamine. the unnecessary death of charlie countryman is my solace.
