  It’s an 80s horror comedy, so if you go in expecting to laugh at the dialogue and SPX, then honestly, it was pretty entertaining. In terms of horror, the deformity was actually pretty disturbing and creepy enough to be unsettling. Kinda dumb premise but they made it interesting, enjoyed it more than I expected

  This film goes "as above" the extent of unrealistic special effects as it can, while being "so below" the standard for genuine character development. The storyline starts out promising, offering the combination of an urban legend with the claustrophobic terror of being trapped in a cave. For a while, there is a good pace of suspenseful moments with the occasional jump-scare.
