I’ve never seen a more accurate depiction of adolescent despair. You suck, and so do all your friends, and you hate yourself, and you think your family does too, and sometimes they do, and then you wait a month and sometimes it gets better, or you just have new problems to deal with. And then you grow up and realize everything you were upset about was pretty stupid anyway. That’s what being 13 is.
