What a weird little gay ass movie that I kind of loved. This movie feels like the awkward teenage child of Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, somehow coming of age through this coming of age horror movie, and it charms me to hell. Nice kills, stylish filmmaking without being too ostentatious, a game cast that ranges from competent to good, and a soundtrack that feels hand picked by Little Stephen for his Underground Garage. Sure, it's internal…

The mystery is kind of weak, and the intermittent turn into a boring Skinemax style of sleaze, but damn if the rest doesn't make up for it. Every performance is weird in a way that feels intentional, the occasional comedic beats are out there and jarring in the best kind of ways, and the kills are satisfyingly over the top. Everyone involved seems to be having a ton of fun, and the cast full of camp legends takes it to another level at times. It stops fairly short of great, but it's weird and fun and definitely worth seeing at least once.

Fun little spanish take on a biopossession movie that I had a really good time with. Lots of goopy and cool practical effects, good character work from the intimate cast, and a pretty equivalent amount of laughs and tension. Really effective and good fun. Give it a watch.

Half a star for actually flipping a car.

Otherwise, this is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. Borderline nonsensical, terribly acted, horribly written, boringly shot, and conceptually bereft. You'd think a movie with so many things done wrong would almost have to interesting on SOME level, but somehow this movie fails at even that. It's like watching an industrial film on how not to make a movie.
