Great idea but terrible realization. It felt like some pubertal teen detached from reality was in charge of the script because some dialogues were just that bad. The camerawork and sound design were excruciatingly dull, which makes the film’s pace much slower. Angela Bettis’ performance was excellent though, as some scenes just make you itch from a second-hand embarrassment. All in all, if you don’t resonate with the bullied femcel archetype personally, the movie might stultify you.
