  This film couldn’t decide whether it was a simple
  rom-com or a profound social commentary on racism in the United States. It failed at both. Additionally, the in-laws demonstrate that they are blatantly anti-Semitic and this is not rectified at all during the film’s resolution. The whole film felt like a tone deaf commentary on race relations while also trying to be a fun comedy. It sucked.
