Sherman's March 1985
Literally caught off guard by what this documentary is actually about. Hell I didn't even realise it was a doc going into it. The biggest problem I have is that while it is beautifully reflective with interesting parallels to Sherman's real march, I can't help but feel unengaged with the romantic pursuit here, let alone that this film is very long where things start to get repetitive as the cycle of heartbreak wears on.

Zulu 1964
Most discourse nowadays focus on the unsavoury aspects of the film's attitudes towards race. That is entirely fair criticism, but I tend to believe the film is also taking a stab at the follies of imperialism, and its casting of Mangosuthu Buthelezi, a descendant of the Zulu leader portrayed in this movie, blurs the lines behind what the film is implicitly arguing. So yes while I do consider this film racist, I think it is unfair to outright dismiss it…

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 2011
They really wanted to split the book into two part so they could devote more time to Bella having sex, and then being pro-life which literally kills her.
Easily the worst Twilight movie, although it has some of the best unintentional funny moments, especially when it came to naming the vampire baby.

1. It amazes me they were able to get away with making five of these films.
2. The sequel is an objectively worse film, and yet it is much funnier than the first. I was actually laughing every time Bella was gonna cry, which is a lot during this movie.
