Visually stunning but kinda empty writing. There’s something missing from this film and i think its that i cant fully describe to you the personalities or relationships of each character in detail. They themselves were like dolls but it didn't feel like this was purposeful. I needed more between main character and her mother and colleagues to get more shocked or engaged with plot developments. If you grew up fearing satanic panic and still do this movie might scare you…

I was wary of this film, too many like it end up turning the character or real life person into some kind of cult hero some guys wish they were. Despite being clear backstabbing crooks. This film (along with penguin tv show) proves you can write these types of stories and maintain level of repulsiveness about the person and character.
I wish it leaned in more with concepts of Frankenstein’s monster story but it is there enough. Especially in surgery…Translated from by
