    CUUUUUUTE

    This is thee Glen Powell romcom. 
    Very fluffy, very happy, chemistry is nice, some of the jokes could be better and a couple of them didn’t age all that well but overall underrated movie when it comes to this genre!

    This movie will forever own a piece of my heart.
    It is after all a children movie with a children movie plot and children movie dialogues but upon rewatches I have noticed it took quite the risks despite it being from the Walt Disney camp because tell me why I’m hearing talks about virgin sacrifices, hangings and a book completely covered of sewn human flesh?
    Some other random observations: there’s a specific genre of annoyingly witty and beyond-their-age smartass…

    A really fun tribute to Beetlejuice that is successful if anything by simply masterfully playing on nostalgia.
    The pace could be better, the first part especially presents some emptiness issues while the ending is a bit too convoluted.
    I agree with those complaining about the plot structure: too many threads with too little solutions. Monica Bellucci’s presence especially is hilarious to me, it makes close to zero sense but I can’t really blame Tim Burton, the man’s in love.
