i loved absolutely everything about this and there is not a single thing i would change. these are all my children
kid infront of me was so stressed (hyped?) watching this he was fully stood up, hands behind his head like a dad watching the superbowl. very good theatre experience, for myself (a 17yr old) seeing how joyous dozens of (8yr old) kids were watching this. overall surprisingly good movie
see the first half was great. i really liked it. but MY GOD the 2nd half was actually so insufferable to watch, i literally despise how they tried to villainize the VICTIM at the end??? if it ended up being empowering on a bad bitch killing all her abusers back in the 60s itd be fantastic. but i literally HATE how they made her a villain for it, when the entire first half of the movie was about her trauma…
