This was perfect to play for Stephen Sondheim’s birthday on Snow White opening weekend. Too bad the old Roku tv at work has bad streaming resolution, picture was fuzzy.

A Karl Malden birthday watch✨ This movie captured people’s interest as they passed through the lobby, even children.

Didn’t watch any trailers, I didn’t know it was a sci-fi comedy. Pleasantly surprised, I definitely enjoyed the ride. Opening shots of a dystopian society (which does not seem far off 👀) reminded me of Things to Come (1936). And Bong Joon-ho says when he wrote it that he wasn’t intentionally lampooning any political figures but I’m mean c’mon, maybe just a little 🤏🏽. Overall it’s fun, entertaining, Robert Pattinson is awesome as usual, Toni Collette returns to form and gives an unhinged performance, I feel like if I watch it 17 times (at least), I’m gonna notice different things going on each time.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Scariest scene is when the Nazis sing Tomorrow Belongs to Me because that feels like today 😳
