  How did it take me 10+ years to finally watch this? The story isn’t perfect but stays well connected and provides gripping drama with a few borderline jaw-dropping moments. 

  As expected, Nolan’s direction absolutely dazzles from start to finish. The visuals and the sound (and sometimes the absence of sound, in fact) are an A+

  Media obsession, media manipulation, brutal reality television and live sports gambling. Now add Schwarzenegger and Richard Dawson one-liners. It’s a can’t-miss. 

  I loved it when I was ten, and I still love it now.

  I clearly didn’t watch enough television in 2022 because it seems impossible that these lead and supporting actors didn’t win a haul of awards. Phenomenal performances during this well-paced miniseries that hit the dark tones just dark enough and makes you feel the struggles that its characters are facing.
