Bel Ami? Idk if he was a dear friend, but he certainly was “friendly” with all the women in this movie. The Capital R in Robert stands for CAPITAL RAKE!!! This movie was too good! Robert chewed, spirt, chewed again, swallowed, ate and devoured this shit! George DuBois’ (Robert) ambition should be studied! I honestly thought this movie was going to give spectacular cuz hello it’s in the title but it gave adequate, lackluster, average. Like yeah it was sad and daddy issues are real, realizing your mom is not the villain in your life you thought she was is real, and living in this stagnant place not knowing what to do with yourself and your relationships is real…but like that’s just life man idk if I wanted to experience all that I would just run my life back…it’s not the same but the point gets across just as well.
