I'm amazed how a such a dumb movie managed to make its monster actually seem so horrifying (at least until the last few minutes, when it's revealed in all its bad-CGI glory).
Pacing faster than the Falcon, forced fanservice, retcons, too many new characters, and an underwhelming final battle all lead to this movie falling short of a satisfying wrap-up to the Skywalker Saga.
