I hemmed and hawed over buying this film on Blu-ray as the last Kirtsie Alley film I rewatched from my childhood “Toothless” was mostly awful. I worried this would be the same. But with no other avenue to watch it, I bought the last copy at Amoeba.

I loved the concept from the start, but I was ready to be disappointed. This film far exceeded my expectations, I laughed and cried throughout this heartfelt story about learning to be yourself and proud of who you are instead of ashamed for who you are not.
