    A festival art film in the handheld-camera European style with a clever title. The messy friendships between teenage girls have been played out on the big screen time and time again, yet this is still an interesting piece.

    Lou de Laage is gorgeous in this. Josephine Japy is very convincing as a taciturn, awkward teenager. Melanie Laurent somehow makes France look like Eastern Europe.

    A made-for-streaming movie about the legendary Nome 1925 race. The acting was clumsy from everyone except Dafoe and the well-trained dogs, something was wrong with the sound in conversations, and the editing was unnatural-looking and blurred around the edges, giving it a cheap look. There were a few scenes (“No, Togo, stay!”) which were ridiculous, but overall the story stayed pretty faithful to the events portrayed.
