This movie was SOLID. Really loved watching this on its 30th anniversary.
Kevin Spacey was brilliant in the role, so unnerving and impactful in the little time he was on screen.
This became of my favorite animated movies, a beautiful journey of a black cat trying to survive in a world drowning in water.
This film manages to convey so much emotion without having ANY word spoken. The cast features only wild animals (not humans) which do not talk, they just utter their distinctive animal noises, and those fused together with some good animated expressions are enough to make you understand how they feel.
Brilliant movie with an amazing style in a fantastic world.
I think this movie would be fire if I were faded. The movie is trippy enough that at times I felt like I was. Also, I feel scammed with Johnny Depp on the poster; I imagined he'd be a more prevalent character. You know what? Maybe if I went through the mirror, a version of the movie with more Johnny Depp screentime would be there (though the other male actors who took the role were quite handsome too).
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It was bad, but that one scene with the emo transformation was the coolest, funniest, goofiest thing I ever watched, it's the only thing that made me not regret my decision to watch this. I language adds a lot to everything too and virtual chat/simulation/game was goofy-looking but also added to the overall theme of the movie. If someone ever calls me emo, I'll show them that one scene so that they think otherwise, that way they'll know better next time they approach me (wait, that sounds emo, oh no)
