Had its moments but the script was pretty poor in most places. For a musical, it didn't have any good songs and the ending was out of nowhere and fell totally flat. 3 great performances though. This better not win anything. 2.5/5

Okay this is tricky. I watched it last year and really enjoyed it, then read the book and loved that a lot more. I felt that centering the film around the investigation as the book did was a massive missed opportunity but maybe the non-linear style and reports being revealed as they were discovered were better suited to a book.
