I guess this must have been a big deal when it came out but I was underwhelmed.
The acting is nice and the action is fine, I just wish the story was a bit more interesting. The whole D-Day sequence is a classic and the film is shot really well. Cast did a good job too.

Aw it's a lovely film. The bromance is real and hilarious. The chemistry between all the characters was great!
It's well paced, fun, and exciting in a great setting!
I liked the setting and the madness. Nicolas Cage and the rest of the cast were perfect. There were many critiques of protestant morality, animal exploitation, greed and pride, colonisation, etc. I was kind of rooting against them all from the start (except the kid) and I guess they all got what they deserved?
