I haven’t gone to the theater and felt such a range of different emotions in a long time . I loved this shit . All at one time I felt pity , remorse, disgust , and genuine admiration for a truly complex character that never left one fucking room basically . Shit hard . And the ending was fucking perfect I went from about to shed a tear to bursting out laughing at that final scene .

BEAUTIFUL shots of Cold War era Berlin . Adjani’s performance is brilliantly unsettling. The soundtrack and dialogue flowed so poetically ! One of my new faves for sure almost had to immediately rewatch to catch everything I didn’t pick up on the first time .
