This was such a good watch to start at 12 am on a weekend. So many smart moments as the jurors slowly realize that the case is more nuanced then it initially appeared. I appreciate how us as the audience is sequestered as much as the jurors to begin the narrative, and how the true nature moment of the crime is painted solely through argumentative dialogue. This is the third time watching through this movie, and holy it holds up. Firstly, the cinematography is a masterclass, with long, lingering shots that really amplify whatever tonality it's composition is going for. Of course the twist is perfectly executed and the sudden tone shift still holds up perfectly after several watches.
