Morally and philosophically bankrupt seizurefest. There may be an infinite number of universes, but in precisely ZERO of them do I like this movie. Screw this movie.

I would have called this movie a great, but awfully disturbing (Tatar raid and the torture scene especially) historical epic, but the fact that it has literal animal snuff ruined it for me.
They threw wounded horse down the stairs. That's pretty unhinged.

Very style over substance, which I feel is to the movie's detriment. Except for the scene where O-Ren and her gang are walking in, that was downright one of the coolest things I've ever seen on screen.

A friend once showed me a clip of the banjo duel at the beginning, I liked it very much. A month or so later, I went into this thinking it was gonna be a feelgood slice of life movie about four guys going on a boating trip...
