Black Swan definitely felt super Aronofsky-esque. Main character who descends into madness because of an obsession. Great soundtrack and overall the film just pulls you in and you feel for Nina the whole time especially against her annoying mum and that weird ass ballet director.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
Very slow start but then it gets very emotional. Joel clings on to his memories with Clementine and doesn‘t want to lose them. The scene at the beach party where they first met is my favorite. The thing I learned from this film: Memories are very important and you shouldn‘t be able to erase them even if they are sad memories.

4 very ambitious characters who are held back and destroyed by their drug addictions. The film takes a very dark turn towards the end (winter) and got me hooked to my screen. Even though I don't like dark and bad endings, this one got me thinking about my own life and made me appreciate it alot more.
