  Superb. This is an indie movie. There is so much love, empathy, and depth in the way these characters are portrayed — even the secondary and tertiary characters have storylines that are rich. 

  The ending shot will make me sob every single time.

  “You’re all going to die down here”

  Where to even begin with RE... sure, it’s nothing like the game it’s supposed to be adapting. But, how fun could a zombie movie set in a mansion held by an evil corporation be? 

  Paul W.S. Anderson did the best he could with adapting this into a movie that would be digestible for everyone. Gamer or not. It’s not the best, but it has zombies, lots of action, and it serves as a fun time capsule for filmmaking in the early 00’s.
