Alien: Romulus 2024
I went into this movie completely blind- never experiencing Alien before. This was also my first ever opening night movie. Being in a pact theater full of Alien fans made this movie a much better experience than I expected but I could still feel the moments of “what was the point of making this?”. This movie really only had its best moment when it dropped everything and kept to the horror. I can’t say this movie made me a fan, but I will be keeping an eye out now due to the mind fuck at the end🙏

The Taking of Deborah Logan 2014
A very odd film- but not in a negative way. When I originally finished watching this movie in highschool, I never expected I’d be digging through old YouTube videos trying to find it again. Once I sat down and rewatched it, I honestly couldn’t believe how good it still stood up. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this movie, I always leave it uneasy and creeped out.

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
The movie was absolutely hilarious but I have to admit, the void portion felt a little weird. So much so the guy two seats over started snoozin hard and it was leagues funnier than the repeating Cajun accent jokes😭 all of that side the acting from everyone was phenomenal, it was great to see so many faces in one place and everyone feeling like they’re having fun. You can see it and you can feel it, I’ll definitely be rewatching!
