  i would like to sit and chat with paul and let him talk to me about history. angus and him, they never quite embraced through out the whole movie yet their relationship feels so intimate, a handshake embodies that, the words exchanged embody that, too. how i love found family

  is it better to speak or to die?

  what a beautiful story of queer coming of age. elio speaks when i know i probably would've stayed silent and just- died. elio doesn't speak, either, but he is bold enough, he faces it enough to be able to say something, albeit quite futile.

  i wish i had parents like elio's parents. the monologue instantly brought my rating to a 5/5
