Absolutely brilliant documentary about Henri Georges Clouzot’s unfinished film “L’ Enfer”. A rare, insightful look on what could have been Clouzot’s most experimental and groundbreaking film. The footage that legendary director had already shot and was never before published is something to behold even after more than 50 years. Ideal companion piece for Claude Chabrol’s “L’ Enfer” (1994) made from the same screenplay some 30 years later.
