  Wow, Ryan Reynolds is so naughty for all his unfunny jabs about corporate media conglomerate M&A work (WHO WAS THIS FOR???)! I cannot believe anyone finds this franchise anything but excruciating at this point. Some fun supporting work though from Channing Tatum and Matthew Macfadyen just doing Tom Wamsgans in his actual British accent. At least the crew and supporting cast got paid.

  absolutely excruciating. A faux celebration of early cinema that manages to reduce this era’s fascinating output to a couple of pained cliches, all to reiterate the same bland “love of cinema” idea over a bloated 190 minute runtime. Jean Smart is great though.
