When Marnie Was There 2014
Hot take but my fav ghibli movie, and I love ghibli. I don’t cry at media too often but this movie will do it consistently. Even with some minor spoilers I was still unable to predict the climax. One qualm is what initially seems like a young, queer, love story with maybe a few hints of schizophrenia turns into a deranged, narcissistic, and incestual relationship; a little weird.
