Just incredible! Romance? 10/10 Music? Knocked it out of the park. Performances? Killed it. Visuals? Why are you gagging so? She bring it to you every masquerade ball? In all honesty, the movie didn't have to portray the Phantom as a smexy beefcake with some dry skin and pink eye, but I guess they were (as Hollywood always is) afraid of making the Phantom too un-fuckable. Otherwise, just a perfect adaptation of the play to the screen. Fun, fabulous and CAMP for days. The house down, boots, mamma. Yes Daaé!

Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us 2018
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
So, not as bad as it could have been. The plot was actually had a solid base...but the character archs were weird most of the time. (Why was that guy obsessed with showing off for his niece? Why was that girl so secretive about that Pokemon? Why was that researcher so awkward?) There weren't enough explanations, it just demands that you take it as is, which is normally the case with kid stories...this didn't have to be a kid story…

Meh, not that great really. The acting was poor (sorry Tom, you know you could have done better too), the characters weren't fleshed out enough, so you don't really care about or connect that much with anyone and the AI was ok...until it suddenly wasn't... (I had to watch that man keel over a couple times...it just looked so crazy with the AI. "Crazy" weird...not "crazy" good.) The concept could have been alright, it was an interesting idea...but just poorly executed, poorly written and poorly performed. The things that matter, you know...most in a movie.
