Loved it. Such a great, vibrant cast of characters. Do people still not like Awkwafina? I never got the hate. This was definitely the best role I’ve seen her in. This movie made me want to call my grandma.

The Virgin Suicides 1999
Let ME tell you why these girls committed suicide. What this situation needs is a man to define the meaning of their lives and their deaths. But seriously the male gaze and everyone else but them defining and explaining themselves was very frustrating to watch but that’s ok. Our lives don’t need to be explained or fit into others desires of who they want us to be. An ambiguous movie but I appreciate that and the theme of exploitative ‘watching’ leaves you with an uncomfortable feeling in the end.
