The Killer 2023
Unfortunately a snooze fest. The plot was pretty weak and undefined with a very minimal resolution. Wanted an action scene or 2 and when it finally came I could barely see it. Just kinda ended up being a guy driving around with constant and repetitive ASMR monologues sprinkled in. Wanted to like it more but just wasn’t a fan.

Yup, Nolan strikes again. Nice to finally have a new movie in theaters that isn’t sci-fi or superhero bs. Oppenheimer is intense, dramatic and borderline terrifying, much similar to the events it depicts. From a filmmaking standpoint it was master class. Visually and audibly astounding. Saw it in Imax, one of the best movie theater experiences I’ve had and it’ll be hard to match. So happy Cillian Murphy got his shot at the lead. He was frickin awesome. Maybe it was…
