this movie is a BRAT, campy, grotesque exploration of the ugly truth. how it critiques the societal perception of women, how aging renders them invisible and unworthy while younger women are commodified and objectified (which then explain the male gaze-y shots i assume)
the scene of sue killing elizabeth was so sad. i wondered if sue had a mind of her own, or was merely an extension of elizabeth.
