i loved this twoparter and it was so fun making a finale bingo after TLORS came out!!! buttt the ending was so disappointing imo like i get the point was they focused so much on who rubys mom is but in the end she wasnt important but i really thought she was like gonna be her own mom or something and shes the god of manifestation. but then how does she always resemble a past companion?

SO GOOD it makes other movies' acting and plot look bad to me! some might be discouraged by the expressive acting and flawed cgi but you have to account for the low budget (15mil). i love how toho brought back the true meaning of godzilla, and also used him as an allegory to koichi's guilt. i've went to the theatres multiple times to rewatch this movie, can't wait for it to come out on streaming platforms. i wish i could watch this for the first time again.
