The gimmick is that protogonist is shot through his vocal cord, that's why it is a dialogueless movie.
It's dumpster fire of incoherency, bad editing, weird camera angles, none background score, it screams for gritty close quarter action movie, and suddenly turns into shoot'em all GTA mission.
Even many video games have more coherency than this.
