The film's portrayal of Emma waiting for Dexter highlighted the common scenario of caring too much, especially for someone who may not fully appreciate it. I don’t think he deserves her.

This thought doesn’t really link to the film but I
it made me think of the unpredictable nature of connections. Like when you meet someone just once, and suddenly, you’re on the same wavelength, sharing a connection that eclipses the bonds with people you’ve known for ages.

"Mim Mesle Maryam... Mim Mesle Madar..."

Golshifteh Farahani's performance, coupled with a compelling screenplay made an unforgettable cinematic experience. Iranian cinema unveils life’s harsh realities with a starkness that cuts deep, revealing the unfiltered essence of it all.

The musical aspect, particularly the ending song that made me watch the film and made my father tear up, is just a wow. Aria Aziminejad did a great job. A sincere appreciation extends to him for such impactful work.

The film's success in Iran, I believe, stems from its cultural resonance and its adept exploration of themes that deeply connect with the audience.

Vanya was subjected to harsh treatment from his grandparents, who were emotionally distant and physically abusive towards him.…
