found some of the framing options strange... too much attention on peace, not enough on justice, not sure if it was the family's choice or directors'. nonetheless, a very powerful film, learned a lot more about Barghouthi and his will to stay free in mind and soul despite his political imprisonment

i wish the showtimr wasn't so late b/c that didn't help given the excruciating slowness of the film, which is maybe the point. beautiful cinematography, light and lines and shadows in all the striking ways, slow haunting loops on memory, despair, death, being forgotten, disappearance... the film returned in my dreams and i can still feel it in my body
