The movie was beautifully shot and had an interesting storyline, the thing is, they did nothing with that storyline. They had Shelly, the main character who is dealing with the loss of her passion working as a dancer performing her last shows as a showgirl and her struggles with being a mother and showing up for her daughter. I went in the show thinking it was based around the two guys boxing but it’s so much more than that and I loved it. The characters, the plot lines and the action sequences are throughly executed. Also, Making the characters very likable and interesting just to brutally kill 80% of them was not something I expected at all, I cant tell if that makes me like the show even more or not. 🌚 I can’t wait for season two and see how everything plays out.
