Solid but I came in expecting more, it ended up being pretty tame and somewhat predictable

Mickey 17 2025
Good balance of sci-fi and comedy with an interesting overall hook. Unfortunately it fails to avoid some of the more cliche moments and stereotypes associated with the “humanity searching for a new planet to inhabit” plot. Not at the level of Bong Joon Ho’s best but just solid enough to stay entertaining. You can definitely feel his own Snowpiercer’s influence. There’s a lot going on that makes the film feel scattered without a unified focus, and so this film is somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4 but I’ll give it the bump for Robert Pattinson

A superhero epic of grand and majestic scale. It stands out as something special and sets the bar to another level of what should be expected from an event film like this. Mythological in nature with a strong emotional core & human element
Every performance was amazing and leagues ahead of the mess that was the 2017 Reshoots. Ray Fisher’s emotional performance was the highlight along with amazing action sequences and beautiful score.
If there were any small issues they were so insignificant in this grand film and excused by the conditions in which this film was completed during this pandemic that they are essentially non-factors

#SpiderMan #NoWayHome is one of the best marvel movies of all time! Truly an amazing and spectacular experience. Tom Holland absolutely killed it in the movie, easily his best performance as Spider-Man. This is an event film for the ages, the best superhero film of the year
