Where do you even start with such films? Alexander Payne's The Holdovers presents an incredible experience, ticking off every box from touching acting to the most beautiful direction. Paul Giamatti presents an incredible performance, taking the audience along with Angus into a rollercoaster journey of emotions towards, old-fashioned teacher, Mr. Hunham. From his strict teaching attitude, to his kind treatment towards Mary, then the unveiling of his truly depressing life, the beautiful writing really sequences the storyline beautifully. Respect hasโฆ
