The idea is great. The story—representing the past in the future—is notable. The lens and camera work are impressive as well. However, in my opinion, the most significant factor preventing the film from reaching its full potential is the turbulent, unnecessary and lengthy monologues of the characters. Despite this, there are elements in the movie that make it spectacular.

From the first time I saw this movie, about 10 to 12 years ago, I remember the scene where Andrey protects a candle from the wind. Whenever I find myself in a position where I must care for something, it feels as though I am safeguarding a bright candle against the wind and rain, tending to hope, life, and vitality.

There are few movies in which I can truly envision myself as one of the characters, and the last two films by Wim Wenders that I've watched—*Perfect Days* and *Wings of Desire*—are among them.

I also thoroughly enjoyed seeing the 1987 version of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. Once again, I found myself wishing I could attend his concert; perhaps I would meet some angels there :))

Honestly, I want to immerse myself in nature and avoid the trappings of civilization; however, it's difficult for me to give up some of its benefits, including watching movies like this one.
