Cool idea, incredibly lazy execution. You're cracking open the world of theology and have a million images, symbols, stories at your disposal. Obviously use none of them in your screenplay or art direction. Focus instead on the shallow characters and vacant story.

Never Let Go 2024
I had no idea this movie existed. Tonight someone pulled me off the street to watch it for free at the Regal in Times Square. Halle Berry was there and introduced the film and she said "I saved Abigail Breslin from a trunk, I got her ass out, and now I'm gonna save these kids" and then the movie started playing. Movie was mid, just a bizarre experience altogether.
