at first when i watched the trailer, i thought they'd done the typical hollywood mistake of revealing too much of the plot and essentially spoiling the entire film, which made me skeptical to come see it in theatres. but of course, i had to for my girl sophie thatcher. i can safely say that the trailer does not reveal too much at all and includes many red herrings, in fact it works as a tool to highlight the film's subversion…

The Jesus Movie 2010
This animated film is absolutely breathtaking. The pure, round, egg shaped designs of the biblical figures are extremely well done, with the identical nature of all the character models symbolising their shared connection of holinesss ; all of them are under the guidance of God - they are all equal. This adaptation of the Life of Christ offers a breath of fresh air to the genre of religious film.
also there's easter bunnies and a funny angle of a horse at one point
